We are delighted to announce that this year's ARE award winner for best "Government installation in Developing country 2018" has Studer products inside. The prize was awarded to Hemeva S.A.S, Studer Innotec partner in Colombia in collaboration with the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MREC), for the off-grid electrification of "Casa de la Mujer – Chejuru", a small textile factory in Selva del Mataven Unified Indigenous Reservoir. This is one of the first installations of Colombia’s initiative “Plan Fronteras para la Prosperidad” for a sustainable development of the country's border areas without access to the national grid.

Daniel Media, owner and founder of Hemeva, was present at the ARE award ceremony held on March 13 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and organised by the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE).
